Returning to the Tree of Life
Grace invites us to leave the divided consciousness of judgment and return to presence, communion, and love.
Living in the Kingdom Here and Now
In 2013, I experienced what I understood as living in the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth. I lived in that awareness by sharing the story of grace with others.
The story began for me in Genesis. Humanity ate from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and entered a divided way of seeing: good against evil, worthy against unworthy, innocent against guilty. I came to understand sin not only as harmful behavior, but also as the consciousness of separation and judgment.
The Teachings of Christ Reveal a Way Home
When we receive grace, apply Christ's teachings, and allow our hearts to be transformed, we begin to leave the divided mind behind. We return inwardly to the Kingdom of Love and eat again from the Tree of Life.
One of the greatest spiritual practices is releasing the need to judge. As judgment falls away, the mind becomes quieter, the heart becomes purer, and we become more fully present.
The Kingdom is not only somewhere we go. It is an awareness we return to whenever we choose grace over judgment, presence over fear, and love over separation.
Reflection
Where am I still eating from the Tree of Judgment? What would grace allow me to see differently? Can I release condemnation without abandoning wisdom or healthy boundaries?
